The X-ray pictures show the initial and final stage of every treatment and the photographs illustrate the solution of a particular problem suggested at Dental Centre "Venelinov". Differences between the patient's status before and after the work of the treating dentist are shown.
Root therapy and re-therapy is necessary in case of nerve inflammation (pulpitis), formation of granuloma, purulent sack (periodontitis) or a cyst. The prognosis with exact root therapy is between 85 - 98%. Thanks to it we can guarantee keeping he ill tooth and its life, same as the healthy one. 1 to 3 visits are required for this therapy.
Pulpitis is an inflammation of the tooth nerve because of a complication in consequence of caries.
Periodontitis is an inflammation of the bone on the root top because of a complication after a pulpitis. It is called also granuloma or purulent sack.
Cyst is a bone inflammation of the tooth top. It looks like a balloon filled with liquid (cystic or purulent). It's a complication of the periodontitis.
Dental dam is a rubber cloth which is stretched around the tooth to be treated. It is aimed to isolate the tooth from the saliva and microbes in the mouth and to protect the patient from the unpleasant taste of disinfection solutions and medicines.
